Dom Brown, Founder
Dom started his career as a stockbroker in England before moving to Australia and spending the better part of twenty years inside companies like AMP and Aware Super.
He learned how the big firms operate. How retirees were being served, and where they were being short-changed. A few things kept bothering him.
Advice was costing more than the people who needed it most could justify paying. And the relationships? They were getting harder to find.
Some of the bigger firms seemed to put their own interests ahead of the client’s, the Royal Commission later confirmed it wasn’t just a feeling. The cost of getting good advice had crept so high that the people who needed it most often couldn’t justify paying for it.
So in 2024, Dom decided to do something about it. He left the corporate world, set up a small practice of his own in Lambton, and built it around a simple idea: retirees should get straightforward advice from someone they actually know, at a price worth paying.
